These are photos from our April 2014 vacation to Japan. After a few nights in Tokyo, we travelled via shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto. We spent the first two nights at Ryokan Gyozanen and the last night at Ryokan Nenrinbo. The first full day in Kyoto, we travelled to Arashiyama where we climbed a mountain to see the famous monkeys. On the second day, we visited Kinkaku-ji, Ryoan-ji and Ninna-ji temples walking the Philospher's Path.
